About Me

I am a local photographer and accommodation provider who moved to the beautiful town of Bright in 2011. Among the many reasons that attracted us to region was the natural beauty of the region and I have been photographing it regularly since 2014. These images were shared on our business accounts on Instagram and Facebook and developed a stronger following than I ever anticipated.

With my growth of interest in photography, I set up the Bright Instameets in conjunction with the Alpine Shire and the Bright Brewery. We have been running an Autumn and a Winter Instameet since 2016. Unfortunately, they were cancelled in 2020 but fingers crossed for 2021. I have also been involved with the Bright Festival of Photography since its inception in 2017. I am primarily a self taught photographer but have had the fortune to head out on photo shoots with some of the best photographers in the country. Been able to observe first hand how they go about their craft has provided me with plenty of insights into improving my photography.

I have exhibited at the Bright Art Gallery several times and prints of my photographs are available at the Made in the Country Gallery in Harrietville.
